They attacked my boyfriend, telling him he was drunk and had to leave and started pushing him. They pinned him to the ground and used pepper spray in his eyes which made him blind for a few hours.

Chequers Club Venue of the first ever AC/DC concert on December 31st 1973. Now a sauna and spa centre, the Chequers Club was founded in 1959 by Denis Wong and his brother Keith. It was probably one of the most popular nightclubs in Sydney until the early 70s and famous for paying high prices to attract top-class acts.
