Where light meets water is a beautifully written book with wonderful use of description about painting, art and the sea in the mid 1800s. I did love the cover and feel 3and 1/2 stars is my rating. Sailor Tom and privileged Catherine meet and are attracted to each other with the additon of a common love of painting and art.
