This Laverda 750 SFC was one of the earlier fourth type; the 16000-series built in spring 1974. Numbering only 108, these 16000-series SFCs were all European specification, without turn signals or even a speedometer. It was the first of only four 16000-series 750 SFC sold in the UK and was delivered by journalist John Nutting to Slater Brothers.
