Cedar Falls - Sony a6000 with Rokinon 12mm f/2.0. You'd be forgiven for thinking a lens with an extremely ambitious maximum aperture and a very wide 99 degree field of view would require some optical compromises. If you looked at the $399 price tag, which is very low for an ultra-wide lens, you'd think those compromises would likely be huge.

1. I just want to confirm that there is ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE between the Rokinon 12mm F2.0 and the Samyang 12mm F2.0. - Numerous forums suggest that there is only a subtle marketing difference, but no difference in quality 2. I have uploaded three photos for examples.

The camera feels a bit imbalanced when, for example, mounted with the fairly large Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 (Full Review). Furthermore, the mount of the a6000 uses the older, half plastic version of the E mount.

In length and size it's roughly the size of the Fujifilm 14mm f/2.8, and notably smaller than the other 12mm lens available for mirrorless cameras: the Zeiss 12mm f/2.8.
