The "Shetland Woollen Company" and "Laurence J Smith" labels are associated with the same company, L aurence Odie Knitwear Limited (LOKL). LOKL succeeded Laurence J Smith in 2004 and operates from the same site in Hoswick, Shetland. Presumably LOKL continued the Smith label.
