May 21, 2016. Kai 🇺🇦. Here the journey is the destination. Of course you have a beautiful view from here, which is even more impressive from Mirador es Colomer or from Torre d'Albercutx. Like the Mirador es Colomer, Cap Formentor (been here in June and September) is completely overrun. Cars are parked quite a way in front of it on the street.

Eine besonders empfehlenswerte Wanderung führt zum Gipfel Na Blanca auf der Halbinsel Formentor im Norden der Insel. Die Halbinsel Formentor, auch "Treffpunkt der Winde" genannt, ist eine schmale und schroffe Landschaft. Die Anfahrt zum Ausgangspunkt der Wanderung kann etwas anstrengend sein, aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Know Before You Go. Due to extremely high traffic on the narrow mountainous road, the road to Cap de Formentor is closed to private cars during the summer months June - September (exact dates vary each year) from 10 a.m to 10:30 p.m. There's no sneaking by - the cameras will catch you. The road is still assessable by bicycle or shuttle bus, with bus number 334 departing every 35 minutes.
