Tipper, and Diane…how could I have forgotten the toast. Your comment reminded me. Mom made cinnamon toast…butter a big piece of white bread (back in the 40's), sprinkle sugar on top of the butter, sprinkle cinnamon on top of the sugar…put under that old government stove broiler…be sure and watch…It came out a little crunchy with the sugar melded into the cinnamon…so good with hot.
