A person died after jumping from Bear Mountain Bridge in Stony Point. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 12:10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 12 in Stony Point, said Trooper Steven Nevel of the New York State Police. The victim's body was recovered by the Westchester County Police Marine Unit, Nevel said.
