Sad to say, John Ebstein died this past February 18, 2005, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He was the last living member of a small team of men given the task of designing one of the most beautiful cars ever produced, the Studebaker Avanti.As a journalist, I was privileged to get to know two of the four men charged with designing the Avanti, John Ebstein and Tom Kellogg.
