De Houtloods really stands out and would be reason alone to visit Tilburg. That's why De Houtloods is probably my favorite restaurant in Tilburg. You can find De Houtloods in De Spoorzone, the area right behind the Central Station of Tilburg. This area used to be used to repair trains but since a few years it's going through a huge renovation.

De Wagon is een eetcafé dat zich bevindt in twee treinen uit 1900 tegenover de noordzijde van het station in Tilburg. Met de Wagon willen we een spoor achterlaten. Of dit nu een herinnering is aan het eten dat we serveren, de unieke eigen wijnen die we schenken of de beleving die we achterlaten wanneer je een feestje geeft.

De foodhal in de Spoorzone opent op 14 september. Dat maakt Gourmet Market Central Station bekend via Instagram. De eethal laat ons ook alvast een voorproefje zien. Een ding is zeker: de Polygonale Loods is vanbinnen compleet verbouwd. We zien blauwe tegels, groene accenten, bakstenen muurtjes, hippe grafische prints én oude treinonderdelen in.

Je vindt ze naast MOOD, dus meteen bij de achteruitgang van het Centraal Station.
