If you're visiting Glasgow or Edinburgh, the National Wallace Monument is perfectly located for a day trip, and very easy to reach by car. The drive will take around 45 minutes from central Glasgow, or 1 hour 15 minutes from central Edinburgh. There is a car park located at the foot of the hill where the Monument stands, just off the A91.
