Annual Sauerkraut Festival: One of the town's most famous events is the annual Sauerkraut Festival, started in 1963. Held every summer, this festival celebrates Phelps' historical association with sauerkraut production. Visitors can enjoy live music, arts and crafts, traditional food, and participate in various sauerkraut-themed activities.
