John Longenecker Obituary. John L. Longenecker passed away January 6 at his home, Berry Patch Farm, Elizabethtown, PA. Born in Harrisburg, October 1, 1938, he was the son of John B. and Helen Longenecker. He graduated from Elizabethtown High School, class of 1956 and earned BS and MS degrees from the University of Michigan.

The Farm. Located in Woodstock, GA, Berry Patch Farm is a beautiful property. There is a mostly paved driveway that leads you from the road to a fruit stand, water tower, playground and small farmhouse. The fruit stand is where you pay for the berries by the pound. When we visited, they charged $3.90 per pound.
