Bridge Information. This was the second bridge to cross the Susquehanna between Columbia and Wrightsville. The two-year construction project began in 1832 and was financed by the Columbia Bank and Bridge Company. It was built by James Moore and John Evans for $157,300. It opened to traffic on July 8, 1834.
