Stone Arabia is a small hamlet in the Town of Palatine, at the intersection of NY-10 and County Rd. 34 in Montgomery County. If you were in downtown Albany, you could drive northwest to Stone Arabia in about an hour. This hamlet doesn't really county as technically being a "town" because of its extremely small population.

Fort Plain, NY | Oct 19, 1780 Sir John Johnson's force crossed the Mohawk River with the intention of burning the town of Stone Arabia as part of his campaign to destroy the homes of American rebels. Capt. Joseph Brant and his men were in advance of the main body when they came under attack from Col. John Brown's advance guard.

Reformed Dutch Church of Stone Arabia, also known as Stone Arabia Reformed Church, is a historic Dutch Reformed church located near Nelliston in Stone Arabia, Montgomery County, New York. It was built in 1788 and is a simple rectangular building constructed of cut limestone blocks. It has a somewhat flattened gable roof and a belfry.

April 12, 2007. Stone Arabia School, also known now as Stone Arabia Schoolhouse Museum, was built in 1854 in Cicero, New York. It is significant as "an outstanding example of a mid-nineteenth century modest Greek Revival style one-room schoolhouse". [2] It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

The Battle of Stone Arabia was brief. After Brown's vanguard collided with a detachment of Brant's Volunteers, Brown ordered his men into a less than ideal defensive position in the woods behind a stone fence. They were subsequently attacked from the left by Brant's Volunteers and from the right by Butler's Rangers.
